Zevar Baksa — Handcrafted Heirloom Jewellery
BRAND STORY
It started with crayons on a bedroom floor; a girl watching her mother design jewellery, then trying to design her own. That instinct never really left.
Zevar Baksa is where it landed. Zevar means jewellery, Baksa means box; a jewellery box, a nod to everything jewellery can carry, and everything it can mean.
Jaipur runs on the hands of its artisans, and that's where we come from. Zevar Baksa exists to give them the credit they rarely receive; every piece designed from scratch, shaped in collaboration with the artisan and designer behind it, their name carried with the collection, not left behind at the workshop door.
Our aim is reinterpretation; taking culture, nature, and tradition and giving them a contemporary edge. Every collection, and every metal we choose for it, carries a reason; a purpose, a meaning, nothing picked at random.
That same intention runs through our logos. English marks our modern collections, Hindi marks the traditional ones; written in our founder's mother's hand, a personal thread stitched into the brand; and a submark that's simply us, distilled.

Have Questions? We've Got Answers.
We craft in gold, silver, and brass, depending on the collection. Each product page tells you exactly what a piece is made of, so check the Collection Page for details.
Yes, all our jewellery is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. Gold and silver are naturally so, and our brass pieces carry high-quality gold and silver plating and an e-coating that's hypoallergenic as well. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend checking the details section on each product page for the specific plating used.
Keep pieces dry, avoid contact with perfume and sweat, and store them in your Zevar Baksa box or pouch away from direct sunlight. All our metals carry the highest-quality plating we can offer. That said, silver jewellery will naturally oxidise over time. This is normal and part of how silver ages.
Our collections are released in limited runs, so once a piece sells out, it typically won't be restocked. If you'd like something similar, see our custom orders FAQ below.
Yes. If you love one of our pieces, we can customise it to a certain extent, for example the length of a chain or pearl necklace, or the size of the piece. For a completely custom piece in silver or gold, write to us and we'll happily talk it through. All customised pieces are made to order.
Right now we ship within India only.
Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 5–7 business days, after they pass quality control. Made-to-order pieces, including customised ones, take 20–30 days to be ready for dispatch. We'll share the exact timeline with you once your order is placed.
We accept returns or exchanges only if a piece arrives defective or damaged, has incorrect plating, or isn't the item you ordered. Full details are on our Return & Exchange page.
Most of our rings and bangles are resizable. For pieces that aren't, you'll find a sizing chart on the product page.
Yes. Every piece is designed in-house, then brought to life in collaboration with individual manufacturing units in Jaipur, and credited as part of the collection. We're working toward bringing manufacturing fully in-house, where our own karigar team will be credited by name for their work on every piece.
